我喝茶。 她喝茶。 我今天学中文。 我们明天去学校。
Start with who does what
A useful basic order is subject, verb, object. 我喝茶 means I drink tea. Changing 我 to 她 changes the person, but 喝 stays the same.
Mandarin does not change verb endings to show person or tense. Time expressions, context, and aspect markers can make those meanings clear.
Add a time expression
A time expression generally comes before the action. It can appear before or after the subject: 今天我学中文 and 我今天学中文 are both possible.
Keep the initial pattern manageable. Practicing a few useful verbs in complete sentences helps you learn where new words belong.
